what they're showing at crawl

I stare out the windows, watching the people across the street run in place I wonder who they have lost, to be running so hard for so long

This work is
queer meditation of the space between the body and spirit healing from depression and heartbreak
conversation with ghosts
digital amputation of the heart
comfort food and anime

VOID is a hybrid choreography that is part-karaoke, part-performative spellwork, part-confessional, and part-dance. It is a work that takes cues from anime, drag, ritual, and personal history, tumbling through the presentational and performative as a means to deconstruct a superficial identity politic that hides a deeper empty unknown.
